StratiCELL® in vitro epidermal models are relevant tools to profile safety, efficacy and mechanism of action of skin care actives and products after topical or systemic application. These in vitro skin models have shown most features of the physiological function of the skin.
StratiCELL® Reconstituted Human Epidermis (RHE) is produced from a pool of human keratinocytes from different donors ensuring the highest level of standardization and reproducibility of the test results. For each batch of skin models, the quality of the tissues is verified and detailed in a Quality Data Sheet supplied with the shipped tissues. Quality is evaluated by MTS viability testing and histological assessment. StratiCELL® Reconstituted Human Epidermis (RHE) are available in 0,63 cm² and 4 cm² culture inserts. Tissues are delivered within 3-4 weeks, upon receipt of the order. Reconstituted epidermis are embedded in solid medium, placed in a sealed 24-wells plate, and packed followed UN3373 shipping instructions.
