L'activité de StratiCELL est axée sur la production et la commercialisation d'épidermes reconstitués, destinés aux tests in vitro. Par ailleurs, StratiCELL preste de nombreux services qui permettent de caractériser les produits à usage cutané.
In Vitro Toxicity Testing
Following the 3Rs concept (Replace, Reduce, Refine), high pressure is made by legal instances on laboratory animal testing. Whenever it is possible, alternatives to animal testing must be used for the safety evaluation of substances.
StratiCELL proposes the use of alternatives to animal testing by using in vitro toxicological tests.
Regulatory toxicity testing is comprised in the program "REACH-it with in vitro testing", where StratiCELL aims to be, the reference service provider for regulatory in vitro safety testing (GLP accreditation ongoing).
